Some photo shoots lean heavily on technical precision, while others thrive on creative freedom. Renowned photographer Casper Sejersen seamlessly blends both aspects in his work. Recently, he was commissioned to create a campaign centered around the molecule of Verso Super Elixir 7.
The shoot, conducted in a Copenhagen studio, was a blend of still life and portraiture. It featured a 3-meter sculpture of the molecule, intricate macro shots of various liquids, and striking model photographs.
To achieve the desired aesthetic, we used the Phase One XF camera with blue ring lenses and a range of filters. Our team finalized the look on set, including retouching and compositing several images that were later integral to the campaign. This meticulous process ensured that every shot met the high standards expected of Sejersen’s work, combining technical prowess with creative artistry.
