I use the AetherMount to mount my Slate7 directly below my Digiplate (upside down), supported through a bungee cord...this works great for me on set for about a month now.

I love this plate and shade combo. The shade is nice and deep, which really helps on those sunny days. It is easily attached and detached... and looks great too. The plate is light and sturdy and holds the iPad safely, meaning you can lift the stand/tripod it's on and throw it over your shoulder while running around the location without worrying about it. The hole options on the back give lots of options for mounting battery, wireless receiver and stand/tripod mounting... I use an arca-swiss plate and tripod combo and it works great. Would definitely recommend.
The Carbon shady is simple, yet very well thought out and build. It is large enough to use in full sunlight and provide plenty of shade for the iPad to be nice and bright. The top and sides are 1 piece that folds flat so it is easy to travel with. The bottom section simply clicks in, but for most application the 3 walls are more than enough. It is very simple and easy to attach to the iPad plate, and looks very professional. Just a great product!
